Our area offers the possiblity for long rides along the coast or towards the magic of the hills around Volterra and Massa Marittima, or to the wild side of the true Maremma (to explore the near Macchia della Magona) or along the famous Viale dei Cipressi and Via Bolgherese.

The hotel is particularly equipped for the cycling tourist: there are mountain bikes and street bikes for rent, maps with tours, technical assistance, guides on the excursions to show you nature and history.

For 10 years the hotel has been the seat for the winter camps of famous teams like MAPEI, FASSA BORTOLO, TELECOM and others. We have got a mechanic who accompanies the group with a van to each destination required. Moreover our clients have a masseur specialised on cycling at disposition.

We have got 30 bikes for rent and a guide for tours in mountain bike and street bike. We have also got training programs for street bikes.

And what is better than a good glass of wine and the typical Tuscan food after a long biking tour?

The hotel is especially equipped for the friends of cycling. Here you can rent mountain-bikes and city bikes. Maps with tours, technical assistance and guides available.

The area in the heart of Tuscany is partcularly florishing, because of its world-famous wines and its olive oil. Here you can also take part of guided tours and tastings in the wine-cellars.

The sea is near – only 2 km away – and characterized by its long beach (11 km). The quality of sea and beaches has been officially recognized by the “blue flag”, which guarantees clean water.
